The Energy
Looking beyond the symptom
As much as I care about the science of the body, I also believe there are parts of healing that can’t always be measured.
In Chinese medicine, the body is understood as an interconnected system guided by the movement of Qi—our vital energy. When that energy is flowing freely, we tend to feel more grounded, resilient, and at home in ourselves. When it becomes depleted or stuck, we may experience symptoms physically, mentally, or emotionally.
This is why I look beyond where a symptom appears. I pay attention to the patterns beneath it—your sleep, digestion, cycle, emotions, energy levels, and the subtle ways your body responds to the world around you.
My treatments blend traditional diagnosis with intuition, observation, and deep listening. It isn’t about choosing between science and energy. It’s about honoring both and allowing them to tell a more complete story.
Because sometimes the body knows what it needs before we have the words to explain it.
